12/09/2009 the ppedv SharePoint conference will be held from February 24 to 25, 2010, in Munich with the motto “Building Know-How.” More than 120 sessions are scheduled, over 30 of which will specifically focus on SharePoint. There will also be ten parallel lecture series, more than 80 top speakers, workshops on February 23 and 26, 2010, and an extensive trade exhibit. Learn more about the talks from ixto CEO Markus Raatz: “PowerPivot – the Next Generation of Self-Service BI” and “PerformancePoint Services in SharePoint 2010.”
10/16/2009 Following the immense success of our summer academy in July, ixto will be holding the fall academy together with partners ITaCS GmbH and Microsoft Germany on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Microsoft branch office in Hamburg. 10/06/2009 The next BI-total!-Workshop will be held from October 12 to 16, 2009, at the location of ixto’s partner the campus GmbH in Berlin. Participants will get to know all aspects of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Toolsets in one compact week. From high-performance databases to the analysis front end, these tools provide a complete toolbox for data warehousing and business intelligence applications. ixto CEO Markus Raatz and ixto project manager Georg Urban will once again be among the workshop’s speakers.

09/17/2009 Tech-Ed Europe 2009, the Microsoft technology conference, will be held from November 9 to 13 in Berlin. Topics at this year’s Tech-Ed include Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 Release Candidate 2, Windows Azure, and Visual Studio 2010. There will be more than 600 talks and breakout sessions. ixto CEO Markus Raatz will speak on the topics of Treasures for Microsoft Business Intelligence, Found on CodePlex, and The Top 10 Best Practices for Analysis Services 2008.

07/15/2009 Well-known SQL server experts such as Markus Raatz (ixto), Georg Urban (ixto), and Steffen Krause (Microsoft Germany) will present information about Microsoft SQL Server & Business Intelligence at the SQLdays, from September 29–30, 2009, under the motto “by professionals, for professionals.” The conference will provide a detailed overview of what Microsoft’s innovative database server has to offer, as well as current trends and the tips and tricks best for you.

07/14/2009 When the summer vacation season ends in September, a new conference season begins for the BI branch. ShareConnect 09, the conference for SharePoint development and management, will be held in Mainz from September 21–24, 2009, at the same time as SQLCON and Basta!.
ixto CEO Markus Raatz will be speaking at all three conferences, including on the topic of self-service BI with Excel services.

04/09/2009 ixto is collaborating again with the campus GmbH to host a BI total! Intensive workshop in Berlin. The topics on the agenda include data warehouse design, SQL Server Integration Services and Performance Point. In addition, there'll also be a daily opportunity to 'Ask the Experts'. The speakers will be ixto CEO Markus Raatz and ixto project director Georg Urban, and the seminar will be held 4 May until 8 May, 2009.

11/28/2008 At Digital Pharma & Life Sciences Conference 2009, which will take place on February 10, 2009 at the Kulturhaus Wiesbaden, IT-experts and leading companies from chemical and pharmaceutical sectors will present current projects and IT-solutions under the motto "more transparency through new insights", focusing on Risk Management and Compliance as well as Operational Excellence.
Amongst others, the agenda features a lecture by ixto together with Bayer Schering Pharma AG on efficiency enhancement in sales through performance-management.

11/12/2008 At the TechEd IT-Professionals Conference in Barcelona, ixto-CEO Markus Raatz has been voted No. 1 speaker for Microsoft Business Intelligence in Europe. His lecture on "Analysis Server 2008 - New Features" received an average vote of 7.99 points. In the Database-track, he ranked among the top as well.
